This review is for the BOARD BOOK VERSION. This was one of my son's favorite rhymes. The 'Look inside' the book is totally misleading as that is for the hard cover version and I ordered the book based on that mainly for those illustrations. The board book version is too short/condensed and cut down and do not have the opening pages that offer the detailing in the illustrations that the peek into the book offers from the hard cover version. You expect the board book version to be slightly shorter and concise than the hard cover one yes, but this is just too much condensed that the whole fun and frolic in the original illustrations is lost! This board book version lacks a continuous flow and looks incomplete on the whole.This board book version may have some thing to interest very young toddlers of 1-2 yrs but I do not think this book has any thing to offer to children of 2 and above.Update - We bought the hard cover version after returning the board book (a used hard cover book which was in just an acceptable condition) but the hard cover book was really cute and exactly what we wanted! This hard cover is suitable for 2 and 3 yr old kids. Five stars for the hard cover version!

My twin babies absolutely love this book! It’s such a fun song, and the illustrations here are really cute. I love how the last frog left is “sitting on a lonely log eating some mostly crumpled bugs”The frogs in the illustrations have bits of silver foil that make their arms and legs shiny, which only adds to the appeal! So far it’s held up really well to some rough love. Overall a great little book!

This book is beautifully made! I am a music teacher and I use many song books in my classroom with my younger students! This book has been a hit at school this year and they ask for it constantly! I highly reccomend this book!

My kids love this one, pretty sparkles, great illustrations, and we of course know the song which makes it more fun to read-sing through.

Great book by a superb writer and thinker. A must read for anyone who wants to do more than pretend to be a Christian.

Dietrich Bonheoffer is a deeply spiritual man who lived what he spoke. He also wrote the Cost of Discipleship which is wonderful read and I go back and read it again, often. The translation process may be a little difficult for some to read Ethics but it is really worth the read. Don't plan to hurry through this book; you will probably want to meditate on many of his thoughts. I am very thankful for this man and for the life that he lived.

Content 5++ stars.This is vintage Bonhoeffer: insightful, challenging, thought provoking. Highly recommend this. The Fortress Works of Bonhoeffer far and away the best editions. There is lot of material here about the background and ordering (as it was unfinished at Bonhoeffer's death). A gold mine. Nearly 600 pages, so not a small book.Took away one star for the poor quality binding and paper (expect more from Fortress - their NT Wright volumes are bound to last 100 years). For a paperback that is this expensive, you expect better quality paper, at least you expect WHITE paper! The paper is coarse, yellow and not inviting at all. The kindle edition are also hampered by poor formatting. This is sad as excellent electronic versions are available from a major Bible study company (think word...).Overall- Content is EXCELLENT- Binding is not likely to last prolonged use (bound like a pulp fiction not an enduring classic it is)- kindle edition is annoying - use a better electronic edition.

This is a great work by Bonhoeffer that I purchased for a paper, but will likely dig into for pleasure reading soon. It has compelling arguments and keeps me thinking.

What can you say - it's Bonfoeffer. It is a must read for clergy and anyone interested in Ethics - specifically Christian Ethics.

This is a great book that details how difficult it is to be ethical in a corrupt world.

Even for a textbook this was hard to read... but that's just Bonhoeffer so there's not much to do about it.

Great insight concerning true biblical ethics. Bonhoeffer does not just share theology but practical knowledge to be applied to daily living.

I bought Tom Parker's book as I was going to Mauritius for business. The book provided a true picture of the country and great overview of the history. I really enjoyed Mr. Parker's insights into this beautiful and fascinating country.

What a wonderful travelogue! As an author who specialises in Mauritian topics, I was really intrigued to discover a book about Mauritius written by an American. I always imagined that Mauritius would be too far off the beaten track to interest our cousins from across the pond, especially as they have the Caribbean and Polynesia on their doorstep. It was therefore very refreshing to find a work which takes in a brand new perspective on the island. Not only does the author, "get" the island of Mauritius he is sensitive to describing it's unique situation. This isn't your usual travel book about Mauritius. It isn't your average ecological pamphlet about Extinction. By combining a brief history of the island, a balanced anthropology, a study of the rare and exquisite flora and fauna of the island and the infamous legend of the Dodo, Tom Parker has created a very accessible and enjoyable read for all.
