It's nice to have all three parts of Paine's Age of Reason. Most publications do not include the third part which he delayed publishing for fear of the potential backlash. This edition is nicely formatted and the footnotes are reproduced well, along with the tables in part two. Overall, a very nice edition of Age of Reason.
Wish everyone would read; should be required reading in every school, college and university - would make the world a much better and safer place
Thomas Pain makes a lot of sense since Common Sense. I always love reading his works because they are so practical and critical of the things that need to be thought more about in this country.
This book should be required reading in high school Government class! This will explain why we have separation of church and government! It will help our children not only understand why we have this separation, but, help them make informed decisions when religions of any kind try to insert their influence into our system of Government! One of the best books ever written by a founding father - who's closest friends were: Washington, Franklin, Adams, and many, many more! Great read, Great History!
