Returned. Nice pics, but I bought based on reviews and frankly, I don't see why it got such high reviews. Wouldn't interest any four year olds that I know...
I bought this book after hearing it read at an Early Childhood Education conference. Used it with my 2.5-3.5 year old class. The kids are crazy for this book. Let them jump around whenever it says "jump up and down" and you've got a solid 10 minutes of entertainment.
We LOVE all the Jan Thomas books in our house. My kid loves to quote this book. He wants to read it every night.
This book is hilarious. These cows are the worst guests. And I love voicing the annoyed chicken.
My preschoolers loved this book! I would definitely recommend to teachers and parents of young children.

My two year old loves this book. She likes to jump and dance and wiggle along with the book.
We have read and reread this book in our house so many times that my four year old has it memorized. One of his favorite games is to pull all the cushions off the couch and then act out the story. I play the chicken and he plays the cows. We really love this book.
