I've read his other book on the 21 laws of leadership and was also impressed with it. In this book, John outlines the levels of leadership, and from my perspective, the levels are very accurate. The first level is where you are assigned a leadership role, positional. The second, where you start to lead based on your own leadership style, either autocratic, or relational. Third, you become a productive leader with a developed style and team who produce for you. Forth, you start mentoring others in leadership, and fifth, the pinnacle, you develop and lead leaders!

I have read many of John Maxwell's books, such as "Thinking for a Change" and "Today Matters", as well as "The 21 Indespensible Laws of Leadership". This book is full of great leadership principles as the others are.Maxwell begins by talking about the level of position. Just because you have a position doesn't make you a leader.The second level is permission. People give you permission to lead them when you develop relationships with them. "People don't care how much you know until they know how much you care.The third level is production. When you become productive, people respect you and follow you. Good leaders are good models.The fourth level is people development. This is where a leader produces other leaders.The fifth level is pinnacle. This is where you produce leaders who produce leaders.Many of the concepts are repetitive if you have read other of Maxwell's books. John believes that "repetition is the mother of all learning"I am one of his fans - I love his simplicity and style of writing. As a pastor, I can implement many of these principles in leading the people of our church. I think any pastor would benefit from this book, as well as any leader of any ministry or corporation.The book closes with showing how John Wooden, coach of UCLA, was a level 5 leader. I enjoyed that part of the book very much, as I have always admired Coach Wooden.

Looooved it soooo hard! I fell in love with Jenna when reading Elle Boons Mystic & Iron Wolves series...which are amazeballs by the way...She's the Fey Queen who's always willing to help! This book is finally Jenna's story. Her Hearts loves or some call them Fated mates are vampire and werewolf hybrids called Wolpires and Jenna has been running and hiding from them since she sensed they belonged to her. Finally their not taking no for an answer when it comes to making her theirs. Little do they know an evil force is going to use her against them, their as shocked as I was when we learn they have a long lost evil brother who's plotting their deaths!!!! What their brother doesn't know is the truth, he's been lied to his entire life by a truly evil person. Will he learn the truth and not harm jenna, or will her Wolpires get to her in time? Sorry I can spill all the details, you'll have to grab this amazing book and find out. Definitely worth it. My favorite part was satans son Creed, who we also me in Elle's other series...He seriously had me laughing so hard out loud! Elle Boon always comes up with amazing characters in her stories that you absolutely love, well some you'll absolutely hate but don't worry...they always get what they deserve on the end lol fantabulous job once again Elle, I've been waiting along time for Jenna's story and I wasn't disappointed. I kinda knew I wouldn't be though because this author never disappoints.

Jenna’s story of her mating to the Cordell twins was excellent. It had the good vs bad story plot, characters from the previous series (Iron Wolves) & lots of sex scenes.The Cordell twins Damien & Lucas found a new sibling, learned something from their father’s past & mated their Hearts Love.Jenna gained a Wolf, let Talia go back to the Earth Realm & mated with Damien & Lucas.But, all of this happened while fighting with an evil entity named the Crone, Zaza, etc. & the evil one was part of King Damilkin (I’m not sure that I spelled his 1st name right but he’s the father of the Cordell twins) Cordell past before he met his Hearts Love. & the evil one is also Khan’s mother; you’ll have to read the book to find out who Khan is.Also, I can’t wait to read Liv’s story on book 2 of this series & the ending to this book was cute to say the least.

It's freaking spectacular. Heart stopping, spellbinding, hold on to the edge of your seat good. This is Jenna and the Cordell brothers story. (AKA) the wolfpires. After the last battle Jenna finds herself in the clutches of her soon to be mates right where she wants to be. When she is taken right out from under the twins noises. Another enemy has emerged and this one has a personal vendetta against Lucas and Damien and is planning on using Jenna to do it. When the truth comes out and the air is cleared there will be one evil crone to battle. Can Jenna and her mates come together to destroy the evil that wants to tear this family apart? They will have to call on old friends to help them. When it comes down to it will Lucas and Damien be able to save their hearts love? Or will it be Jenna saving her mates? Omg y'all I can't tell you how good this book was. I love the world that this author has created I can't wait to see the next in this series.

I find this to be one of the most difficult books to write a review on in a long time. I do not know if I have the adequate words to express how much I enjoyed this book. I have enjoyed Elle Boon since the first book I read from her, and I was anxious to finally read Jennaveve's story with Dameian and Lucas, but I was not prepared for the depth of "humanity, love, good, evil, adventure" that could be put into a paranormal story. This book can be a stand alone, but knowing the other characters brings along more laughter and love and heart racing during events. To able to see that Jennaveve FINALLY gets her Hearts Loves after so long is truly gratifying, but obviously their jobs and responsibilities are still important. If you have never read an Elle Boon book before, please do not hesitate. If you have read Elle Boon books before, not sure why you have not jumped into this one. This is a book of of so much Love, conquering years of supposed betrayal and neglect, of finding some answers for some, and others learning to trust where Trust was never even a thought between certain characters. How Elle twines so much into a story and into characters has got to take a piece of her sole with each gift she provides to her readers. Please don't think twice and enjoy this amazing adventure, and if you are a new reader to Elle Boon, meeting these amazing characters along the way that will become a part of your "family".
