The recipes in this book call for ex large eggs! It says they are equal to 1/4 cup so I use my large eggs and add water to equal 1/4 cup. Includes lots of useful tips (if you haven't already read them somewhere else, but recipes didn't inspire me. I would not recommend this cook book to anyone.
I was disappointed with this book. I was hoping to see more recipes for bread that is entirely made in the machine. There are no pictures. The few recipes I might use are ones I've already found on the internet for free.
I have the first Tom Lacalamita Bread Machine cookbook and have used it to death. When I saw this new one I had to have it, and was NOT disappointed!! It has some awesome, and different kinds of recipes in this that from the first book. If you have a bread machine you will love this book. It shipped quickly from Amazon and was well packaged so no damage.
Love the recipes. It's so hard to find whole grain bread recipes that also include "flavors" like banana and apple. What more can I say?
I have wowed my family and myself with the great breads that I have made from this book. I don't buy bread ever anymore and I am stuck on his great multigrain bread. We also love the dinner rolls and the calzones. If you have a bread machine, this is the book to use with it.
This book has so many good recipes. I have only tried a few so far but am very happy with them. Everything is easy to read. The only thing is I wish it had pictures to see what some of the things were supposed to look like. Otherwise I am very satisfied.
Great recipes. My friends especially like the Pretzels.
